How to find my office in Jussieu: Tour 45-55 - 4th floor
I am a scientist at the LOCEAN (Laboratoire d'Océanographie et de Climatologie par l'Expérimentation et l'Analyse Numérique) of IPSL (Institut Pierre Simon Laplace). I first came to LOCEAN (formerly LODYC) as a PhD student in 1993, and received my PhD in 1996 from the University of Paris 6, working on mesoscale phytoplankton variability in the Mediterranean Sea. I spent the year 1997 in the US at LDEO (Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory) on a Lamont postdoctoral fellowship. I work at LOCEAN as a CNRS research scientist since 1998. I have spent eight month as a visiting scientist at NIO (National Institute of Oceanography, Goa, India) in 2005 and 2006.
My research is focused on the influence of ocean dynamics on biogeochemical fluxes, at basin, regional, mesoscale and submesoscales, particularly at mid and northern latitudes (North Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean and Mediterranean Sea).
